Dubai International Airport to Dubai Hills Estate

Dubai Hills Estate is a large master-planned community of villas, apartments, a golf course and Dubai Hills Mall, set inland along Al Khail Road, and most transfers here end at a residential gate rather than a hotel.

Along Al Khail Road

Al Khail Road is the natural route from the airport, and it is often clearer than Sheikh Zayed Road in the rush. The chauffeur leaves it at the Dubai Hills exits, so the drive is usually twenty-five to thirty-five minutes, more at the evening peak.

Gated neighbourhoods and the mall

Dubai Hills Estate is divided into named sub-communities, many of them villa clusters with their own security gate. Give the community, street and villa number, or drop a pin on the gate, and if your community registers visitors, let it know a car is coming. Apartment buildings around the park and the mall have open drop-off areas.

Dubai Hills Mall, Dubai Hills Golf Club and King's College Hospital Dubai are all within the estate, and each has its own entrance to choose in the address search.

Families and luggage

Many arrivals here are families moving in or coming home. Tell us your passengers and bags when you book so the class offered fits, and request a baby seat if you need one: only a car that carries one is sent.

Know your sub-community

Dubai Hills Estate is large, and its neighbourhoods, such as Sidra, Maple or Park Heights, have their own entrances off the estate's ring roads. Give the sub-community as well as the street, or drop a pin, and the chauffeur goes to the right gate first time. Downtown is about fifteen minutes away along Al Khail Road, which makes the estate convenient for both airport runs and everyday city trips.

Help

DXB to Dubai Hills Estate: your questions

How long does the transfer take from DXB to Dubai Hills Estate?
About 25 kilometres, usually 25 to 45 minutes depending on traffic and the time you land.
Is Dubai Hills Estate near Downtown?
It is about fifteen minutes southwest of Downtown by Al Khail Road, roughly between Al Barsha and Nad Al Sheba.
Can the chauffeur take me to King's College Hospital from the airport?
Yes. Choose the hospital entrance in the address search. For a medical appointment, book with some margin after your landing.
Is there a Salik gate on the way?
The usual route round the head of the creek, on Ras Al Khor Road and Al Khail Road, usually crosses none, though Al Khail Road has a Salik gate at the Business Bay Crossing; a route over a creek bridge or along Sheikh Zayed Road crosses at least one. Any crossing is passed through at cost.
Can I go straight to Dubai Hills Mall?
Yes. Choose the mall and the entrance you want in the address search; the mall has several drop-off points around its car parks.
Where will my driver meet me at Dubai International Airport?
Without Meet & Greet: the parking the airport designates for pre-booked cars, marked across the airport; it can move, so follow the markings. With Meet & Greet: inside the arrivals hall, with a name board.
