From the terminal to Gate Avenue

The chauffeur crosses the creek, usually on Al Garhoud Bridge or the Business Bay Crossing, and reaches DIFC from Al Saada Street, Financial Centre Road or Sheikh Zayed Road. At quiet times you are there in about fifteen minutes. Morning arrivals that land just before the working day starts meet the heaviest traffic into the district.

Towers, courts and hotels

DIFC is a cluster of office towers, galleries and restaurants linked by Gate Avenue, with the DIFC Courts and many of the district's firms within a few minutes' walk of The Gate. Most towers have a forecourt or a drop-off lane; choose the building in the address search and add the company or floor in the notes if you are heading straight to a meeting.

Four Seasons Hotel DIFC and The Ritz-Carlton DIFC are inside the district, and Jumeirah Emirates Towers is just along Sheikh Zayed Road.

A day of meetings, then the flight

If you fly in for meetings and out the same evening, book the arrival transfer and the departure as separate rides, or keep one chauffeur for the day with hourly hire and finish at the terminal. DIFC to the airport is short, but the evening rush on the creek crossings is when it slows.

Gate Village and the evening crowd

After office hours DIFC turns into one of the city's busiest dining districts, with galleries in Gate Village and well over a hundred restaurants across the area. If you land in the evening and are heading straight to dinner, choose the restaurant's building as the drop-off: valet lanes and forecourts fill up, and a precise address saves circling the podiums.

DXB to DIFC: your questions

How long does the transfer take from DXB to DIFC?
About 15 kilometres, usually 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic and the time you land.
Can I book the arrival and the return trip together?
Yes. A return trip is booked as a second ride linked to the first, each with its own pickup time.
Is the transfer to DIFC charged differently on a weekday?
The fare for your pickup time is shown before you confirm. Time of day can affect the quote; once confirmed, your fare is fixed.
Where do I wait if I arrive early for my meeting?
Gate Avenue has cafés and seating a short walk from most towers. Your chauffeur drops you at the building and the trip ends there.
Can the chauffeur drop me at Jumeirah Emirates Towers?
Yes. It is a few minutes from DIFC along Sheikh Zayed Road; choose the hotel or the office tower you need in the address search.
Where will my driver meet me at Dubai International Airport?
Without Meet & Greet: the parking the airport designates for pre-booked cars, marked across the airport; it can move, so follow the markings. With Meet & Greet: inside the arrivals hall, with a name board.
