A short hop south of the airport
The district lies just south of the airport, beside Ras Al Khor Road, so most transfers take ten to twenty minutes and stay off Sheikh Zayed Road entirely. The chauffeur comes in from Ras Al Khor Road or Al Khail Road, depending on the terminal and the traffic.
Towers, the marina and Creek Beach
Creek Harbour is still growing, with new residential towers finished every year around the marina, Creek Beach and the island park. Building names can be new to maps, so if your tower is recently completed, a pin on the entrance is the most reliable way to be dropped at the right lobby.
Across the water lies the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, a protected wetland at the head of the creek, and the open views over it and the city skyline are a large part of why people live here.
To the airport from Creek Harbour
This is one of the quickest airport runs in Dubai. Even in the rush, the district is on the airport side of the main creek crossings, so a modest margin before check-in is usually enough.
Life by the water
Creek Beach is a small urban beach of around seven hundred metres beside the marina, and the promenade and Viewing Point look straight across to Downtown and Burj Khalifa. Downtown is usually fifteen minutes away by Ras Al Khor Road, and Dubai Festival City is a short drive away, which keeps everyday trips short as well as the airport run.
