The short answer
A drivoo business account puts your team's business rides on the company. You sign up online, drivoo reviews the company, and your admins then add employees with a monthly budget of trips or an amount. Employees switch between Personal and Business when they book, and the company sees business rides only.
What a drivoo business account is
A drivoo business account lets a UAE company put its team’s business rides on the company. Your admins add employees in the business portal, each with a monthly budget of trips or an amount, and employees switch between Personal and Business when they book. Your company sees business rides only: personal rides are never shown to it, and the employee always pays for them. Every ride is run by a licensed limousine company and driven by its licensed chauffeur, booked through drivoo, a platform run by TechSphere Solutions Limited, across all seven emirates. This guide walks through opening the account, drivoo’s review, how your company pays, and the set-up that gets your first employees riding.
What to have ready
The authorised person signs the company up, so gather their documents and the company’s before you start. You need the trade licence, with its number, issuing emirate and expiry date; the VAT registration certificate, with your 15-digit TRN; and the authorised person’s Emirates ID, both sides, and passport, with their numbers and expiry dates. You also name an accounts contact, with an email and a number, because that is where invoices go. Each copy can be a PDF or a photo in JPG, PNG, HEIC or WebP. Having everything to hand matters: verifying the mobile opens the sign-up for a limited time. If it runs out, you verify again, and what you entered stays on the page.
Signing up online
Go to business accounts for companies and choose Sign up your company. The form has five steps. First comes the authorised person’s mobile, verified with a code sent by text message. Then the company: its legal name as on the trade licence, an optional trade name and website, the office address and emirate, and an optional pin on the map, with the licence and VAT certificate. Then the authorised person, with their email, Emirates ID and passport, and then the accounts contact, where the company can also apply for a credit limit to book rides on account, with a bank reference letter or audited accounts if it likes. At the review step, the authorised person agrees to the Business Terms and the Privacy Notice on behalf of the company, and can write anything in the Terms the company doesn’t accept, for example the payment terms.
drivoo’s review
After you submit, drivoo emails a confirmation. Open it and verify the email address soon: the link expires, and drivoo can’t approve the account before the email is verified. drivoo reviews every application before the account opens. Its status reads Under review, then Approved, More information needed or Not approved. If drivoo needs more, the email says what, and you correct the details or replace a document under Check my application, with the same mobile number, then resubmit. An application that isn’t approved comes with the reason, and it can be corrected and sent again. If you wrote an objection to the Terms, drivoo answers it in writing before approving, and the answer is recorded in your Account Agreement.
How your company pays
At approval, drivoo sets how your company pays, starting from your credit application if you made one. By company card, your admins link one or more cards: each business ride is held on the card at booking and charged when it is completed, with a tax invoice in your company’s name emailed to the accounts contact. On account, drivoo grants a credit limit and payment terms, and rides are invoiced monthly with a breakdown per ride; a ride that would go beyond the credit available isn’t booked on account. A company can also pay in advance, recorded as a prepayment that its rides and invoices draw down. Business rides are priced as public rides, less your company’s corporate discount, which your portal shows, on a fixed fare quoted before booking, VAT included, with Salik and parking passed through at cost.
The activation email and your Account Agreement
When the account is approved, the authorised person, now the company’s first admin, and the accounts contact receive an activation email with the Account Agreement attached. It is one PDF in English and Arabic, issued once and never edited. It records the parties, with your company’s legal name, TRN and trade licence number; how your company pays and its corporate discount; the full text of the Business Terms and Privacy Notice versions you accepted; any objection and drivoo’s answer; and the record of the acceptance, with the authorised person’s verified mobile and email and the Dubai date and time. Your admins can download it at any time from the company profile in the business portal.
Your first sign-in: the set-up guide
The first time an admin signs in to the business portal, a set-up guide opens in a side panel with four steps, each opening the screen where it is done: invite your employees, set your travel policy, check how your company pays, and book a first ride. Each step is marked done from your account’s own data, so the guide shows real progress. You can close it at any time and open it again from Help. It opens by itself at each sign-in until every step is done, or until you choose Don’t show again. Your company’s travel policy sets which classes, days and hours, places and trip types are allowed, and whether a booking reason is asked for.
Adding your employees
Add employees one at a time or from a CSV file, with each person’s name, mobile and email, and their monthly budget. Each gets an email and a text message saying your company has added them, with the steps to follow. There is no acceptance to wait for: the employee signs up or signs in with that mobile, gives their name and confirms the email you gave through a verification link, and their business profile turns from Invited to Active. Your admins can deactivate or reactivate an employee at any time. A deactivated employee can’t book business rides, and their personal drivoo account is unaffected. Someone employed by more than one company chooses the company when they book.
Your team’s first rides
When an employee books as Business, they see only the classes and extras your policy allows, and pick a booking reason if your policy asks for one: client meeting, business event, business travel, or one your company adds. A ride outside the policy is refused with the reason, or sent for approval when your rules say so, and it is approved or declined in the portal. First bookings might be airport transfers for visiting staff, a director’s day of meetings with a chauffeur by the hour in Dubai, or a roadshow on intercity routes between emirates. A tip on a business ride comes from the employee’s own card, and promo codes can’t be used on business rides.
Seeing every business trip
Your admins see every business trip in the portal: the employee, the Dubai date and time, pickup and drop-off, class, the cost breakdown and the booking reason, with its receipt. They can download a CSV cost summary by employee with trip details, and invite more admins and finance users. Admins are also emailed when an employee reaches the share of the budget you choose. If you have questions before you sign up, contact the drivoo team. Hotels booking for guests use a partner account instead, which our hotel concierge guide explains.
