From AUH to the towers
Like the rest of the city, the islands are reached over one of the bridges from the mainland, with Darb charged at the weekday peaks and passed through at cost. The drive is usually twenty-five to forty minutes; the morning rush into the financial district is the slow time.
ADGM, hospitals and homes
Al Maryah is compact: ADGM Square with its towers, The Galleria Al Maryah Island, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and hotels including Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island and Rosewood Abu Dhabi. ADGM's jurisdiction now covers Al Reem as well, and many firms have offices there.
Al Reem is a long island of residential towers, with Reem Mall among them. Tower names repeat across developments, so pick the exact building from the address search or drop a pin on its lobby.
Hospital visits
If you are flying in for an appointment at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, choose the hospital's main entrance as the drop-off and book with a margin after your landing, as immigration times vary. A baby seat or extra luggage space can be requested when you book.
Close to the city centre
Al Maryah and Al Reem sit just off downtown Abu Dhabi, linked to the main island by short bridges, so the Corniche, the ministries and the older business districts are only minutes away. If your week is a run of meetings across ADGM and the city, an hourly chauffeur is often simpler than separate rides.
