The route

From Al Ain, the chauffeur takes the E66 across the desert towards Dubai, entering the city near Dubai Silicon Oasis. It is about 140 kilometres from central Al Ain to central Dubai, usually an hour and a half to two hours. The open road is the easy part; the time depends on Dubai’s traffic, which is heaviest in the morning and late afternoon.

Where we collect you and where we go

Your chauffeur collects you anywhere in Al Ain: a family home, a hotel, a university campus or an office. In Dubai, they drive you to the door, whether that is a hotel in Downtown, a meeting in DIFC, the malls, or a terminal for a flight. For a flight from Dubai International or Al Maktoum International (DWC), leave time for check-in and for the traffic in Dubai.

Tolls and fares

Depending on where you are going, the last part of the route may cross Salik gates in Dubai. Tolls pass through at cost, with no markup, itemised on your receipt. You see one fixed fare before you book, and on the website you pay by card: held when you book, charged when the ride is completed.

An evening in Dubai, and Hili on the way

Many trips from Al Ain to Dubai are evening trips, and in the cooler months the reason is often Global Village. Its season runs from autumn to spring on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, which the E66 crosses on its way into Dubai, and it opens in the late afternoon, so an afternoon departure from Al Ain arrives around the time the gates open. Enter Global Village as your destination and the chauffeur drives you to the entrance.

Book the ride home from Dubai to Al Ain as its own booking for the time you expect to leave; once you are out of the city, the open desert stretch of the E66 is the easy part. If you set off earlier in the day, Hili Archaeological Park is on the road to Dubai, about 10 kilometres outside Al Ain. It is a public garden around Bronze Age and Iron Age remains, with the earliest known evidence of an agricultural village in the UAE, and it makes an easy first stop before the long open stretch towards Dubai. Add it as a stop when you book.
